my first blog post

Hi all,
This is my first blog post. If it seems a little niave, that's because I am new to blogging.
this blog site will be dedicated to the discussin of English Composition and theory. ( too boring?). well, let's see what we can do about that!
I invite your comments to my posts and I will return the favor. I am also new to hgher ed. English studies, last class being in 1980. (Wow, were you alive then?) So, my posts on the subject will probably be dry. I am open to suggestion in how to make them more interesting.
